RECYCLABLE HOMES PROJECT
We have joined a group of progressive urban thinkers on a project which creatively find housing for those of the homeless community in various U.S. cities. This project recycles abandoned cargo shipping containers. These containers are made of impenetrable steel which provides great insulation and perfect for the various climates within the United States. These containers often times cost a fraction of the price needed to build or remodel an existing structure. Our organization provides community awareness campaigns and some financial assistance to the group. Our contributions are from donors who supports our work. We humbly as you to donate whatever amount possible to help with our continuous support for this project.
URBAN GARDENS
Growing food in community gardens has become a popular, interactive and wonderful way to get those within a community involved in producing fresh, healthy food to share. Often times families lack the resources and space to grow their own food, so through such community gardening efforts, people are able to eat organically without money. Our volunteers assist and support the community gardeners by supplying growing materials and financial resources needed to provide water. If you are a person who purchases organic, then you understand the power of the Urban Gardeners work. Any financial contribution you can pledge, would greatly be appreciated.
REEL DOCUMENTARIES
The "Reel Documentaries" are documentaries of real life stories of adversity from those within impoverish communities. The documentaries are produced, filmed and edited purely by volunteers with the financial support from Organize Humanity. These projects utilizes majority of our donated funding. We believe through actual accounts and through the lenses of cameras can awareness be felt. Global awareness of the overwhelming levels of poverty has to be made public, to create an outrage among the masses. Exposing the real life hardships to those who are unaware is what sparks change. DIGNITY MAKEOVERS
Organize Humanity team of photographers and production stylist often produce Dignity Makeovers for the homeless in various cities. The concept of Dignity Makeovers is to provide individuals who happen to be homeless with an outlet to escape their current condition. It's through clothing donations from retailers and individuals we're able to style the subjects in trendy fashionable wears. After each makeover, the models are able to keep the garments which can be utilized for interviews and other important occasions. The photographer generally grants each subject with a printed image from the photo session. The joy and smiles we receive for providing these makeovers are REMARKABLE.
